Working in partnership with The Producers Forum, First Light is offering free places on a new Second Light training Lab that will concentrate on film producing.

The Lab will ensure that participants learn how to turn their film ideas to pitches, get a comprehensive introduction to pre-production and production, as well as gain information, advice and careers guidance for those important next steps following the Lab. The Lab will also contain a 2 day master class in distribution and marketing with critically acclaimed filmmaker and author Jon Riess.

Second Light and the Producers Forum will recruit trainees who can demonstrate a strong interest in filmmaking. They’re on the look-out for participants with ideas that they are passionate about, and who are from backgrounds currently under represented in the filmmaking sector.
