In addition to the various production support available for individual projects, Screen WM also have a significant ability to support productions through the Film & Media Production Fund. This fund can invest up to £500,000 or 25% of a project's budget, whichever is lesser.
Screen
WM have also just announced that their newest fund, the advantage development fund, is once again open for submissions. The fund is targeted at enabling new and existing screen-based media companies to undertake research and development work to bring new products to market. The deadline for applications is 5pm Friday 15th February 2008, with further deadlines expected later in the year.

Media Directions
Media Directions is a new publication, sponsored by Sony that offers media freelancers, undergraduates and graduates the opportunity to promote their filmmaking talents with the prospect of gaining funding, support and industry recognition.
