Birmingham City Council is inviting tenders for up to six large-scale arts projects of international quality to take place during 2007 as part of its Urban Fusion Programme to promote Birmingham as a great international city, through an artistic and cultural programme which:

engages a large number of residents

celebrates Birmingham’s diverse community
-
builds new artistic partnerships and collaborations
-
highlights the city’s own resident companies
-
contributes to urban regeneration.

has the potential to attract national and international interest
DEADLINE: Monday 16 October 2006 at 5pm
BUDGET: £50,000 to £100,000 per project (including estimated expenditure on artists fees, materials and management, and details of confirmed or likely income from other sources. The budget should be inclusive of all appropriate fees and expenses).
DETAILS: We welcome innovative collaborations between regional, national and international artists and proposals across the full range of artforms and project types including public art installations (permanent or temporary), street theatre, public events, performances and festivals.
