Researcher Position
Fullrange Media are looking for a development researcher of
outstanding quality to join our team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Researching the television market for new programming opportunities
• Researching the viability of specific projects to be taken to the marketplace
• Identifying necessary research areas to make sure projects are as
developed as possible before pitching
• Helping to creatively develop project through primary research
• Contributing to creative and operational decisions
• Liasing regularly with all members of the company
• Communicating with clients and other external organisations and
people on behalf of Fullrange Media
The applicant will be directly accountable to the Creative Director.
Necessary Skills/Experience:
• A good knowledge of the television industry including logistical
requirements and the latest developments in the broadcasting
landscape, informed by some kind of experience
• A wide general knowledge across genre
• Ability to understand the implications of marketing and target
audiences on content and tone, when interpreting and presenting
research
• Ability to adapt to new and unconventional working methods and environments
• Ability to work independently (under guidance) and as part of a team
Contract Duration: 5 months
Salary: 18k pro rata
Location: Hatton, Warwickshire (easily commutable from Birmingham or Coventry)
