Filmaka.com is a web-based short film network designed by established film-makers to spotlight new emerging talent that would not otherwise have the chance to have their work seen by the likes of John Madden, Werner Hertzog, Wim Wenders, and many others.

A twice monthly competition culminating with an annual winner receiving a contract to develop a feature with Filmaka.com

How it works:
1) Log onto www.filmaka.com
2) Find the theme of the current contest
3) Register with ww.filmaka.com
4) Make a short film- no longer than 3 minutes
5) Upload your short film for viewing and voting
6) The top 15 filmakers get $500 cash prize plus $1000 for a follow up film.

The winning two enter the Annual Grand Final.
