Shot entirely on location in the city, the film traces the musical career of Andy Hamilton, a unique figure in Birmingham jazz, incorporating archive footage with a mixture of rehearsals, recording and performance.

Made in 1988 to mark Andy’s 70th birthday – Broadcast on Central TV

A very rare chance to see this compelling documentary featuring Jazz legend Andy Hamilton, rumour has it that Andy Hamilton may be in attendance for the screening.

Producer/Director team & brothers, Sunandan and Yugesh Walia set up Endboard Productions in 1985 to share their passion for storytelling to a wider audience. This followed a string of critically acclaimed films across the globe. Featuring children, who can remember their previous lives, love across cultural divides, American teenagers looking for adoption and a moving film revealing life inside India’s largest jail.
