Animation Industry Day

Turn up, toon in and get down to business…This jam packed one-day discussion forum programmed by Claire Jennings (Producer, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of The Were-Rabbit) caters for both established industry members and newcomers. Delegates can sign on to the specific strand that suits them best whilst also making the most of an array of crossover events and joint networking opportunities.

This year’s Encounters film school will explore the essentials for developing a good idea for the screen from the nuts and bolts of story and structure to the twists and turns of character and plot. Key screenwriting figures including Frank Cottrell Boyce, Billy MacKinnon and Lucy Scher will explore the art and craft of storytelling for the big screen offering insight, illumination and some provocation.
