CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS TO SCREEN AT THE THIRD ANNUAL MONOSIN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
The third annual ‘Monosin Short Film Festival’ will be taking place on Tuesday 11th March, 7:30pm onwards, Mono Bar, Arcadian, Birmingham, B5 4TD. Please note this is a FREE event there are NO entrance fees or submission fees. The only money exchanged and possible profit is behind the bar. Guests need to be 18yrs of age or over due to the licensing of the location.
This is an opportunity for artists trying to break into the arts around the Midlands. Successful candidates will use this festival as a screening and showcase inviting anyone you wish to see your work, Directors, Casting directors, Agents, Producers, Local companies you may want to work with, Sponsors, Friends and Family. I send out a selection of invites to industry professionals but it is also up to you to invite your required field of industry guests who may be able to offer you work or opportunities. Many people have found work or furthered their prospects by networking and through capturing the interested of various guests via their films.
There are availabilities for Film trailers, Show reels, Music Videos and the main event Short films from artists based/trying to break into a venue or company within the Midlands. As long as I can link you to the Midlands I can show your work. I am also open to suggestions from other artists if they too would like to perform / bring art work or play instruments as guests arrive or just generally show case their work through out the night.
Deadline for Show Reels, Music Videos, Trailers, IN AVI FILES is Friday February 22nd 2008.
Deadline for Short Films on DVD is Tuesday 4th March 2008.
Deadline for artists, make up artists, musicians, dancers, performers to submit involvement is Friday 7th March 2008.
