Are you into Manga, Superheroes, The Beano? Are you a budding comic illustrator or animator, Wanna see your characters in print or on the screen? Maybe help is at hand!

Following on from 3 years of the successful StripSearch scheme, Hi8us Midlands Ltd, an arts and media production company and charity are raising money to run free professional illustration and animation training schemes, in the West Midlands this summer (from July-October 2007).

If you're aged 13-19, with a passion for comic illustration or animation then get in touch. You could get the chance to create your own comic book or animation. Working with professionals such as; John McCrea (X-Men, Spiderman and The Hulk), Hunt Emerson (The Beano, Wall Street Journal and Fortean Times), The Brothers McLeod (Award Winning Animators behind Fuggy, Fuggy).

This scheme has applied for Mediabox funding and will be supported by Hi8us Equal ITM fund.
