Interactive commissions up for grabs
21st November, Orange Studio, Birmingham
A chance for local creative digital media companies and individuals to engage directly with BBC commissioners in a one off event held at the Orange Studio in
Birmingham on the 21st November at midday.
The BBC is looking to develop better relationships between their commissioners and
West Midlands ’ digital media companies. The
Birmingham innovation Lab launch day will give you the opportunity to network and brainstorm alongside BBC commissioners and interactive media experts.
There are a number of opportunities for you to get involved and we have highlighted just a few of the commissions that will be up for grabs on the day;
· Radio 1 – With FM switch off on the horizon, 10,000 tunes in your pocket, and a widening competitive sphere, Radio 1 will face unprecedented challenges to stay relevant. How can Radio 1 remain a musical right-of-passage for today’s 12-24 year olds?
· Sport – We are looking to provide innovative services to enhance our coverage of the live action, in real time. What ideas to you have?
· News interactive – BBC News currently has a declining reach amongst 14-24 year olds, and we want to grow this reach via innovative new products, how could you help us deliver this?
· CBBC – Bridging the CBeebies and CBBC age group and brands online. How can we aim to bridge that drop off point and create a seamless transition from our Cbeebies brand online to our CBBC brand online?
To avoid disappointment please book your place for the event now.
